The Flow GrantDAO Program is now live! 🌊
We’re calling on developers, creators, innovators, and dreamers to build the future on Flow — the blockchain designed for scale, speed, and mainstream adoption.
Flow is a high-performance L1 blockchain designed for consumer web3 applications at scale. Flow supports two VMs, giving EVM devs the option to build in solidity as well as offering a new powerful smart contract language: Cadence. The unique multi-role architecture on Flow ensures high speed and throughput without sharding making it one of the fastest EVM-supporting chains. Built with scalability, usability, and efficiency at its core, Flow empowers developers with ultra-low cost gas fees and advanced native features like account abstraction and on-chain randomness. With major brands like the NBA, NFL, and Disney leveraging the network, Flow is the foundation for the next generation of mainstream killer web3 apps.
The Flow GrantDAO is allocating over several million FLOW to ecosystem builders. Eligible projects can be awarded up to 50k FLOW per round. Flow GrantDAO gives teams an opportunity to secure funding while working on bringing their project to life and solve real problems. After completing an application and getting approved, projects are funded based on community MACI voting. Voting happens throughout the round and payouts occur at the end of the round period.
Projects that graduate from this program and show strong signs of traction or utilization may be offered additional startup advisory support from Flow Foundation as well as fundraising opportunities and training.
The overall duration of Flow GrantDAO Round 1 is 3 months.
Note: Flow GrantDAO Program is a long-term funding program, but application review and fund distribution will only happen periodically in sequential rounds.
Every 3 months a new round commences with potentially changing focus areas. The current round is focused on:
We will pay more attention to projects that will make a clear contribution to the network usage or TVL of the Flow ecosystem.
Generally, the following aspects are considered:
